About this work

RESINOLOGY; "Year 2222 (Mars - Red Planet)" is a prophetic and profoundly lyrical vision of a distant horizon where the concept of landscape is reinvented. The work projects its gaze toward the 22nd century where nature, stripped of its organic terrestrial verdure, reappears transfigured under the red and magnetic light of a Martian ecosystem.

Through a breathtaking dichotomy between the aridity of the tectonic cliffs and the mysterious fluidity of the encapsulated resin water, the work explores the perseverance of elemental structure. Three bare, sculptural tree silhouettes stand firm on the arid terrain, flawlessly reflected in a central pool of shimmering crimson resin. It is a visual poem about the memory of origin, vital adaptation, and the beauty of emptiness.

What if it was humankind, after destroying the Earth, that took it upon itself to do the same to this far-flung corner of the world? That's it.
